GOAT MILK SHAMPOO BAR
You've asked for it! We've made 2 versions that people around here are happy with! #1 is richer and seems to work well for normal to thick/coarse/curly hair that could use some extra moisture and manageability...and #2 seems to work better for normal to finer hair that needs something not too heavy. Although everyone in this house is now in love with the new #2 formulation & we don’t use any #1’s. We’d love feedback on this. If we can drop #1...let’s do it! So if you absolutely love #1...tell us!
NO. 1 - NORMAL TO THICK/COARSE HAIR
Ingredients: Fresh Goat Milk, Organic Coconut Oil, Local Olive Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Aloe, Local Honey, Essential Oil.
NO. 2 - NORMAL TO FINE/THIN HAIR
Ingredients: Fresh Goat Milk, Organic Coconut Oil, Local Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Aloe, Local Honey, Essential Oil.
Each bar is approximately 3.5 oz and made the maximum amount of fresh goat milk possible for the most divine product possible.
* A note of what we've learned:
There are ORGANIC/ECO shampoo bars that are package free...however...they are the CHEMICAL/DETERGENT based shampoos we are used to, simply in a different form.
We've found that using a NATURAL SOAP that is good for the earth, but is different than what we're used to, takes some getting used to. However, we feel good that what's going back into our waters is still free of the yucky stuff that may bother our stream, river & ocean friends.
So...
#1. The bars should work as a 2 in 1. We’ve worked hard to get the recipe right...and I think for most people, we hear they’re good to go. But...👇🏼
#2. I have learned from my nature loving friends that rinsing your hair with diluted APPLE CIDER VINEGAR is a way to go. It strips off built up soap and acts like a conditioner. Just a teaspoon or so in a juice glass...take the glass in the shower & fill up for your rinse. Easy. Some people like it after every wash, every few washes...I use it never. My hair loves the #2 bar with nothing else.
#3. Some of you with thick, coarse or curly hair have been telling us you use a little bit of our lotion in addition as a leave in conditioner!
#4. If you’re not loving the shampoo bar...try the other #! Like if you’ve tried #1, try #2! When I use #1, my hair is a weird mess...but with #2, it’s the best 2 in 1 thing I’ve ever used on my hair...ever.
Hope this helps!
